Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

My sister-in-law made this recipe for a party over the summer. She found it online @ http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Zesty-Slow-Cooker-Chicken-Barbecue/Detail.aspx

I made it at home several months ago & loved it. Steve thought pork would be better… and he was right! As an option, you can substitute chicken with pork shoulder… YUM! It’s more fatty, so you might want to follow the cooking option
noted below the directions if using pork.

INGREDIENTS
6 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (12 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

DIRECTIONS
Place chicken in a slow cooker. In a bowl, mix the barbeque sauce, Italian salad dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the chicken.
Cover, and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.

Option: If you want the chicken a little let runny... you can season chicken with garlic powder, a little salt and pepper add a can of 99% chicken broth and throw in crockpot and cook on low for about 6 to eight hours. When you get home, drain grease, shred chicken and pour rest of ingredients over chicken for about an hour to blend flavors.
